BREINIGSVILLE, Pa. (AFX) - A book publishing company will open a plant in the Lehigh Valley by this summer, adding 150 jobs within three years, Gov. Ed Rendell said Wednesday.Tennessee-based Lightning Source will establish a manufacturing plant in Breinigsville in an existing building. It is expected to open by June.Lightning Source, a subsidiary of Ingram Industries Inc., stores books and other information electronically and delivers them 'on demand' to booksellers, librarians and publishers in either traditional books or as e-books.The state offered Lightning Source a $750,000 package of grants and tax credits. The company is also eligible for a $6 million loan through a program that offers low-interest loans to businesses that commit to creating or adding jobs in Pennsylvania.Copyright 2006 Associated Press.
