Fast Search & Transfer wins deal from Japan's Nikkei Digital Media

OSLO (AFX) - Fast Search & Transfer ASA said it has won a deal from Japan's Nikkei Digital Media for the deployment of its Fast Enterprise Search Platform.

While no financial details were disclosed, Fast said the agreement is based on software licences, maintenance fees, and other professional services.

Nikkei Digital Media started operating as a 100 pct-owned subsidiary of Nikkei Inc at the start of this year, and is now responsible for much of the firm's publishing operations, including its Japanese language news site, NIKKEI NET.
