FRANKFURT (AFX) - BASF AG's BASF Coatings Spa unit said it has won a contract to supply Honda Motor Co's unit Honda Italia Industriale with BASF paints to coat Honda motorcycles in Europe, North America and Asia.No financial details for the contract were revealed.BASF said the contract covers the supply of electrocoating for a new line for motorcycle frames, which started operation in March 2006.The company added that its e-coating system CathoGuard 580 Black, a lead-free product, was the impetus behind BASF winning the contract.krysia.diver@afxnews.comkd/jrCOPYRIGHTCopyright AFX News Limited 2006.
