Cobra says agrees to manufacture Pharmexa's bone disorder vaccine candidate

LONDON (AFX) - Biopharmaceuticals manufacturer Cobra Bio-Manufacturing PLC said it signed an agreement with Pharmexa for the manufacture of the protein vaccine PX107 for use in Phase I clinical trials for bone disorders.

Cobra said it will manufacture the therapeutic vaccine, PX107, which uses Pharmexa's proprietary active immunotherapy technology, AutoVac.

The company said the vaccine is in pre-clinical development to treat osteoporosis, rheumatoid arthritis and bone metastasis with pathological bone destruction.
