Intracom Telecom wins new 2.8 mln usd order with Costa Ricas ICE |

ATHENS (AFX) - Intracom Telecom, part of Sistronics Telecommunication Solutions division, said it has signed a contract worth about 2.8 mln usd with the Instituto Costarricense de Electricidad y de Comunicacion (ICE) for the provision of ISDN terminals and the extension of relevant centralized management system.The company said that this contract is an extension of the previous one, worth about 2 mln usd implemented within 2003.The state-owned ICE and its subsidiary RACSA are the only providers of both fixed-line and mobile telephony, internet and data communications in Costa Rica.Greek listed defence and technology group Intracom Holdings controls a 49 pct stake in Intracom Telecom.Source: Euro2day.gr NewsWireskrekas@euro2day.grns/gpCOPYRIGHTCopyright AFX News Limited 2006.
