Focus Media president resigns

NEW YORK (AFX) - Chinese advertising network operator Focus Media Holdings Ltd. said Thursday its president, David Feng Yu, has resigned, and has been replaced by Zhi Tan, former chief executive of Framedia, a subsidiary of Focus Media.

Yu will continue to serve as co-chairman of the board.

Tan's appointment became effective Jan. 19.

Framedia, an in-elevator poster frame advertising network operator, was acquired by Focus Media in October 2005.
