AMSTERDAM (AFX) - Shares in Amsterdam closed higher, spurred on by a buoyant Wall Street which was boosted by the Fed's decision to leave US interest rates unchanged and positive comments on the US economy, while Hagemeyer led blue-chip gainers after an upgrade at ING, dealers said.The AEX closed 5.78 points or 1.16 pct higher at 505.59, after trading in the range 504.47-507.92.Government bonds traded higher while the euro stood at 1.3023 usd versus 1.3001 usd late yesterday.amsterdam@afxnews.comls/gpCOPYRIGHTCopyright AFX News Limited 2006.
