Harris gets $25.7M Air Force deal |

WASHINGTON (AP) - The U.S. Air Force on Wednesday awarded a $25.7 million contract to a unit of Harris Corp. for four counter-communications systems.The Melbourne, Fla.-based Harris Corp. Government Communications Systems division will supply four new counter communications systems, which will be equipped with multi-band satellite communications capabilities.Harris will also provide testing, support, in-house repairs and data management.The company will complete the work by January 2010.Shares of Harris gained 47 cents to finish at $49.10 on the New York Stock Exchange.Copyright 2007 Associated Press.
