China total information industry revenue seen at 10 trln yuan by 2010

BEIJING (XFN-ASIA) - Total revenue from the information industry is expected

to grow to 10 trln yuan by the end of 2010 with an annual compound growth rate

of 17.6 pct over five years starting 2006, a statement from the Ministry of

Information Industries on the central government's web portal said.

Intel Capital to invest 65 mln usd in Taiwan's Powertech

has agreed to invest 65 mln usd in Powertech Technology Inc (6239.TW), a
