COPENHAGEN (AFX) - Danish shares were higher midmorning, buoyed by rises in heavyweight stocks like Vestas Wind Systems and AP Moller-Maersk, dealers said.At 10.35 am, the OMXC20 index was up 5.49 points at 460.93, while the OMXCB Benchmark index gained 5.02 points to 438.72.AP Moller-Maersk was up 1100 dkr at 59,200, while Vestas Wind Systems gained 7.00 dkr to 270.00.Novozymes AS gained 6.00 dkr to 491.00. The group's US partner Broin has been awarded a grant of 80 mln usd from the US ministry of energy, RB Borsen newspaper reported.Danske Bank AS gained 2.00 dkr to 262.00. The group is considering issuing mortgage loans from outside of Denmark due to a proposed Danish law making banking conditions less favourable, the newspaper said.ALK Abello, which is due to present its full year report tomorrow, gained 54.00 dkr to 1,132.00.Trygvesta AS slipped 0.50 dkr to 439.50.Among other shares, Neurosearch AS was up 15.50 dkr at 323.00, FL Smidth AS gained 10.00 dkr to 373.00, and Novo Nordisk shed 1.00 dkr to 483.00.gustav.sandstrom@thomson.comgs/amCOPYRIGHTCopyright AFX News Limited 2007.
