(correcting to show Alstom has share in, not all of orders)PARIS (AFX) - Alstom said it has won a share in contracts worth about 140 mln eur to supply hydroelectric equipment in Latin America.It said the Ecuadorian state-owned power supplier Hidropaute SA awarded a consortium including Alstom a 60 mln order for hydro-mechanical equipment for a new plant on Ecuadors Paute River.Alstom's unit Alstom Hydro's share is about 23 mln, it said.Alstom Hydro also won an order worth about 80 mln from CVG Electrificacion del Caroni -- Venezuelas largest supplier of hydroelectric power -- for the refurbishment of four generating units at its Guri I power house, located in the city of Puerto Ordaz, Venezuela.paris@afxnews.commrg/abr/mrg/amCOPYRIGHTCopyright AFX News Limited 2007.
