WASHINGTON (AP) - The U.S. Navy on Monday said it awarded a $7.7 million contract boost to a unit of Northrop Grumman Corp. for operations and maintenance support for an unmanned aerial vehicle used for surveillance.San Diego-based Northrop Grumman Integrated Systems will provide operations, engineering and logistics support for the Global Hawk Maritime Demonstration.Work will be performed in Patuxent River, Md., and San Diego through December 2007.Shares of Northrop fell $1.01 to close at $73.64 on the New York Stock Exchange.Copyright 2007 Associated Press.
