PHILADELPHIA (AP) - Internet content provider Yahoo Inc. and cable operator Comcast Corp. on Monday said they have agreed to a multiyear partnership for Comcast.net that includes video and display advertising services.

Comcast's Web site gets more than 15 million unique visitors a month with viewership of more than 80 million videos monthly.

The partnership is for the ad sales group of Sunnyvale, Calif.-based Yahoo to be the primary marketer and seller of the site's display and video advertising. Yahoo's ad services will be integrated with a redesigned Comcast.net, planned for later this year.

'As Comcast continues to grow its online presence, we will monetize our other online sites while driving innovative cross-platform services and creating new business models,' Amy L. Banse, president of Comcast Interactive Media, said in a statement.

The companies also will work together to create and market sponsorships and custom advertising packages.

Shares of Yahoo fell 4 cents to $28 in aftermarket trading and ended the day down 30 cents to close at $28.04, while Comcast shares shed 27 cents to close at $26.66, both on the Nasdaq Stock Market.
