RPT - SKorea's Hyundai Oilbank to invest 2.1 trln won in new plant

SEOUL (XFN-ASIA) - Hyundai Oilbank Co Ltd said its board has approved a proposal to invest 2.1 trln won by 2011 in new oil upgrading facilities, capable of processing 52,000 barrels per day.

South Korea's fourth-largest refiner said it is aiming to start operations in 2011 at the new facility, located near its Daesan plant, south of Seoul.

The company's current upgrading facilities can process 64,000 barrels per day, it said.
