Honda to export 42,000 China-made cars to Europe this yr |

BEIJING (XFN-ASIA) - Honda Motor Co said it expects to export 42,000 Jazz model cars made in China to Europe this year.That is sharply higher than last year's shipments of 24,600.The automaker said in a press release that one of its China joint ventures -- Honda Automobile (China) Co Ltd which specializes in supplying vehicles for markets outside China -- has produced 50,000 vehicles since it officially began production in April 2004.Honda Motor and its Chinese subsidiary own a combined 65 pct stake in the venture, with the remaining stake held by its partners Guangzhou Auto and Dongfeng Motor Corp.derek.jiang@xfn.com
