China approves 300 mln usd QDII quota for Credit Suisse |

SHANGHAI (XFN-ASIA) - China's State Administration of Foreign Exchange (SAFE) said in a website statement that it has granted 300 mln usd of investment quota to the Shanghai branch of Credit Suisse, under the QDII (Qualified Domestic Institutional Investor) program.Credit Suisse was approved by the regulator to provide a QDII service at the end of last year. It allows the bank to invest domestic clients funds in overseas markets.lilian.wu@xfn.com
