LUXEMBOURG (AFX) - Bertelsmann AG's RTL Group unit declined to confirm or deny a press report that it plans to sell its 33 pct of Grupo Media Capital SGPS to Promotora de Informaciones (Prisa), and that it is eying a stake in media group Impresa SGPS.A spokesman for RTL Group, a broadcasting and media company, said he would not comment on the report, but added his company is planning to issue a statement on its Media Capital shareholding at a later time, possibly today.Journal de Negocios said that RTL, which will receive about 206 mln eur if it accepts Prisa's 7.5 eur per share bid for Media Capital, does not believe that two large media groups can share control of the Portuguese broadcaster.newsdesk@afxnews.comjfb/icCOPYRIGHTCopyright AFX News Limited 2006.
