LONDON (AFX) - BG Group PLC said its India unit, together with India's Oil & Natural Gas Corp Ltd (ONGC), has signed a production sharing contract with the Indian government for a block in the Krishna-Godavari basin.BG Exploration and Production India Ltd has a 45 pct interest in the KG-OSN-2004/1 block, while operator ONGC holds 55 pct.'(This) marks the beginning of BG India's diversification into a new and growing hydrocarbon region on the east coast,' said BG India managing director, William Adamson.newsdesk@afxnews.comjro/vlbCOPYRIGHTCopyright AFX News Limited 2007.
