TOKYO (XFN-ASIA) - Domestic sales in March of new cars, trucks and buses, excluding mini vehicles, fell 12.6 pct year-on-year to 487,738 vehicles, declining for the 21st straight month, the Japan Automobile Dealers Association said.Car sales last month were down 12.4 pct year-on-year at 420,486 while sales of trucks fell 13.8 pct to 64,001 and bus sales dropped 12.3 pct to 3,151.In the full year ended March 31, sales of new cars, trucks and buses, excluding mini vehicles, fell 8.3 pct year-on-year to 3.588 mln vehicles, the fourth straight year of declineCar sales in the fiscal year just ended fell 9.3 pct to 3.028 mln vehicles, while sales of buses fell 4.6 pct to 17,045 and truck sales dropped 2.6 pct to 542,756.(1 usd = 117.72 yen)kaori.kaneko@xfn.com
