MILAN (AFX) - Shareholders including Fiat SpA and Telecom Italia SpA will not renew their membership to the shareholder syndicate of Mediobanca SpA, the Italian investment bank said.

The pact has received cancellations for 4.838 of share capital bound to the pact, with Fiat and Telecom Italia each having 1.835 pct bound to the pact.

Groupe Industriel M. Dassault SA, which had 0.565 pct bound to the pact also decided not to renew its membership.

This pact, which overall controls 47.9 pct of the bank's capital, has been renewed for another three years starting from July 1.

The investment bank said Officine Meccaniche Cerutti will not renew 0.306 pct bound to the pact but would keep 0.307 pct in the syndicate.

SO.FI.T SpA said 0.196 pct bound to the pact would not be renewed but the remaining 0.197 pct of the bank would still be bound by the pact.

Finsev SpA, with 0.101 pct bound to the pact, said it would not renew its membership.
