ROSEMEAD, Calif. (AP) - Utility operator Edison International on Tuesday said that Edison Mission Energy, an indirect subsidiary of Edison Mission Group, has priced $2.7 billion in senior notes.Edison Mission Energy priced $1.2 billion of senior notes due 2017, $800 million of senior notes due 2019, and $700 million of senior notes due 2027. The offering is expected to close on or about May 7.The company said it will use proceeds for a tender offer for its debt and to contribute to other Edison units for their debt tenders.Shares of Edison dipped 34 cents to $53.09 in aftermarket activity after adding $1.08 to close at $53.43 on the New York Stock Exchange.Copyright 2007 Associated Press.
