BMI dismisses reports about takeover approaches, FY profits up 197 pct

LONDON (Thomson Financial) - The chairman of BMI British Midland has

dismissed reports that he has received approaches to sell his 51 pct stake in

the privately held airline, but did not rule out a future disposal.

additional 40.1 pct in Datacraft Americas Holdings Ltd, raising its stake to a

controlling 50.1 pct.

Dolan Family to acquire Cablevision for 36.26 usd per share in cash

LONDON (Thomson Financial) - Entertainment and telecoms company Cablevision

Systems Corporation said it has come to an agreement with the Dolan Family

Group, where all outstanding shares of Cablevision that the Dolan Family does

not already own will be converted into 36.26 usd per share in cash.

VW supervisory board to give recommendation regarding Porsche offer in 2 weeks

WOLFSBURG, Germany (Thomson Financial) - Volkswagen AG's supervisory board

will examine Porsche AG's takeover offer in the next two weeks and then give its

recommendation to shareholders, said VW chief financial officer Hans Dieter

Poetsch.
