US Treasury Secretary Paulson to visit South America next week

WASHINGTON (Thomson Financial) - US Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson will make a week-long trip to South America beginning July 9.

He will visit Brazil, Chile and Uruguay, Treasury announced today, meeting with the presidents of all three countries as well as finance ministers and local business leaders.

These will be Paulson's first trips to the countries as Treasury Secretary.
