BAE gets $7.2M General Dynamics contract |

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - British defense contractor BAE Systems said Monday it received a $7.2 million contract from General Dynamics to supply a 57-mm machine gun for the U.S. Navy's Littoral Combat Ship.This is the second contract BAE has received for the gun through General Dynamics, according to a BAE Systems spokeswoman. The contract includes options for spare parts and training. Work is scheduled for completion by 2008.Shares of General Dynamics Corp. fell 13 cents Monday to close at $76.27 on the New York Stock Exchange.Copyright 2007 Associated Press. All rights reserved.
