BEIJING (XFN-ASIA) - The National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) said it has approved an integrated methyl methacrylate project to be developed by Degussa Specialty Chemicals (Shanghai) Co Ltd, a unit of Degussa AG.The project involves a total investment of about 2 bln yuan, the NDRC said in a statement on its website.The project includes a 105,000-ton-per-year isobutylene facility and 115,000-ton-per-year methyl methacrylate facility.Germany's Degussa is a leading specialty chemicals group and one of the top 10 chemical companies in the world.(1 usd = 7.73 yuan)ivy.cheng@xinhuafinance.com
