BEIJING (XFN-ASIA) - Industrial & Commercial Bank of China(HK 1398; SHA 601398), the country's largest lender by assets, will seek overseas acquisitions when the time is 'appropriate', chairman Jiang Jianqing said.He told a media briefing here that the bank also expects its investment banking business to grow in 2007.The investment banking business grew 53 pct year-on-year in 2006, he said.ICBC will also set up branches overseas as part of its overseas expansion campaign, he added.derek.jiang@xfn.com
