PARIS (AFX) - Air Liquide said it is investing 40 mln eur in the construction of a new air separation unit (ASU) in Trinidad and Tobago, to meet growing demand for industrial gases from clients in the region.In a press release, Air Liquide said the new ASU will be capable of producing 720 tonnes per day of gaseous oxygen and 1,500 tonnes per day of gaseous nitrogen.The ASU is scheduled to begin operation mid-2009 and will be located in Point Lisas, Air Liquide said.vicky.buffery@thomson.comvb/ambCOPYRIGHTCopyright AFX News Limited 2007.
