Sanofi-Aventis says Taxotere shows good results in non-small cell lung cancer

PARIS (Thomson Financial) - Pharmaceutical company Sanofi-Aventis said seven trials of its Taxotere drug in treating non-small cell lung cancer showed a 'significant' improvement in overall survival rates versus existing treatments.

Taxotere, an anti-cancer agent used in other treatments, is the company's fourth best-selling drug.
