LONDON (Thomson Financial) - Murchison United NL said it has found further uranium at its Firawa prospect in south-east Guinea, West Africa, over a targeted and a highly prospective two kilometre strike length.The Australian-based minerals exploration company said it plans to start its expanded drilling programme at Firawa in early 2008.The company said it has secured a portfolio of uranium exploration projects comprising about 13,600 square kilometres of highly prospective tenements in Mauritania and Guinea.Murchison United said it looks forward to define uranium resources with drilling due to begin soon in Mauritania.TFN.newsdesk@thomson.comssr/jlwCOPYRIGHTCopyright AFX News Limited 2007.
