DSM sells Canadian factory to AstraZeneca

AMSTERDAM (Thomson Financial) - Royal DSM NV has sold a biologics manufacturing facility in Canada to AstraZeneca, the company said in a press statement.

Financial details were not disclosed but DSM said the transaction will lead to a small book profit for the Dutch chemicals group.

The 66,000 square foot facility will be used by AstraZeneca to manufacture antibody drug candidates for clinical trials, DSM said.
