fulloutMADRID (AFX) - Cintra Concesiones Infraestructuras de Transporte SA (Cintra) said it is part of a consortium including Actividades de Construccion y Servicios SA (ACS) and local builder GEK Holding which has been selected as preferred bidder for a 1.5 bln eur highway in Greece.In a statement, Cintra said the 30-year concession is to construct a 174-km highway connecting the Patra-Athens-Thessalonika-Euzoni (PATHE) Highway with Egnatia.The final contract will be awarded once cleared by the Greek government and ratified by Parliament, Cintra said.Cintra, ACS and GEK each hold 33.33 pct of the consortium.afxmadrid@afxnews.comped/jdy/icCOPYRIGHTCopyright AFX News Limited 2006.
