Wyeth, MediVas sign research agreement to develop haemophilia therapies

SAN DIEGO (AFX) - Wyeth Pharmaceuticals, a division of Wyeth, said it has signed a research collaboration with California-based biomaterials company MediVas LLC to develop, manufacture and commercialise biopharmaceuticals to treat haemophilia.

Under the terms of the deal, Wyeth will develop, manufacture and market any products derived from the agreement, while MediVas will receive milestone payments based on net sales of products, they said.
