China targets 2007 urban registered jobless rate under 4.6 pct - state planner

BEIJING (XFN-ASIA) - China is targeting a 2007 urban registered jobless rate of under 4.6 pct, the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) said.

In a report to be delivered at the annual session of parliament, the state planning agency said China will create at least 9 mln new jobs in urban areas.
