Intertek FY pretax profit up on strong performance in three main units |

LONDON (AFX) - Intertek Group PLC posted an increased full-year pretax profit on excellent performance in its three main units driven by high demand and said it sees the weaker usd impacting 2007 results but it remains confident about its prospects.The testing and inspection services company reported pretax profit of 91.4 mln stg on revenue of 664.5 mln stg compared with 79.4 mln stg on revenue of 580.1 mln stg a year earlier.The company said it will propose a final dividend of 10.2 pence a share.Intertek said it sees good opportunities to develop both organically and through acquisitions in 2007.newsdesk@afxnews.comash/slmCOPYRIGHTCopyright AFX News Limited 2007.
