DETROIT (AP) - General Motors Corp. unit GM Performance Parts said Monday it will extend the warranty offered on its performance parts crate engines to 24 months or 50,000 miles.It will also add a 12 month or 12,000 mile warranty to its performance parts components, effective immediately.The new warranty periods cover thousands of parts, from spark plug wires to crate engines, and will be applied to GM Performance Parts crate engines, transmissions and components installed in or bought after March 1, 2007, and is transferable to subsequent owners.A crate engine is a complete replacement internal combustion engine already packed in a shipping crate.Shares rose 15 cents to $30.77 during morning trading on the New York Stock Exchange.Copyright 2007 Associated Press. I bought a new motor for my GMC Van. It has a 3 yr. warranty on it. Does the warrnaty cover O two sensors. If you are not the right place to contact can you please tell me who to contact.
