Gazprom, Transneft could get own security services

MOSCOW (AFX) - Russian state-controlled energy companies Gazprom and

Transneft could set up their own security services with similar powers to the

police under draft legislation seen by Agence France-Presse.

LukOil says proved reserves as at Jan 1 2007 estimated at 20.4 bln boe

LONDON (AFX) - LukOil OAO said it has proved reserves of 20.4 bln barrels of

oil equivalent as at January 1 2007, including 15.93 barrels of oil and 26.60

trln cubic feet of gas, compared with 20.33 bln boe at Jan 1 2006.

Russia's TNK-BP says oil leak minimal, not a threat to water supply

LONDON (AFX) - TNK-BP, the Russian joint venture of UK oil giant BP PLC,

said the oil leak in one of the pipelines of its Orenburgneft unit was a 'minor

incident' and is not posing a threat to the water supply of the surrounding

area.
