China B-shares end morning higher, taking a lead from A-shares |

SHANGHAI (XFN-ASIA) - China B-shares ended the morning session higher as investors took note of strong gains on A-share markets.Energy and machinery stocks helped push Shanghai B-shares higher.The Shanghai B-share Index rose 3.98 points to 332.31 and the Shenzhen B-share Index was up 0.89 points at 738.92.The FTSE/Xinhua China B 35 Index was up 93.49 points at 11,215.55.The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index ended the morning up 90.43 points or 1.70 pct at 5,401.15, just a tad off its new all-time high of 5,401.41.(1 usd = 7.54 yuan)lilian.wu@xfn.com-xfnlw/xfnrcCOPYRIGHTCopyright AFX News Limited 2007.
