SHANGHAI (XFN-ASIA) - China B-shares closed higher, tracking the strong gains on A-share markets, dealers said.Energy and machinery stocks helped push the Shanghai B-share index higher, they added.The Shanghai B-share Index rose 3.60 points or 1.10 pct to 331.92 on turnover of 874.35 mln usd and the Shenzhen B-share Index finished up 1.20 points or 0.16 pct at 739.23 on turnover of 715.13 mln hkd.The FTSE/Xinhua China B35 Index was up 108.31 points at 11,230.37.The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index closed up 82.94 points or 1.56 pct at a record 5,393.66.(1 usd = 7.54 yuan)lilian.wu@xfn.com-xfnlw/xfntmCOPYRIGHTCopyright AFX News Limited 2007.
