China's Hunan Nonferrous cleared to invest 116 mln usd in Australian project

BEIJING (AFX) - The National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) said in a statement it has approved Hong Kong-listed Hunan Nonferrous Metals Corp Ltd to invest 116 mln usd in a metals exploration project in Australia.

The project, in the Northern Territory of Australia, will be carried out together with Australia's Compass Resources NL, the statement said.

No further details were provided.
