Spain Jan industrial production up 7.7 pct yr-on-yr; adjusted up 5.1 pct

MADRID (AFX) - Industrial output rose 7.7 pct in January from a year earlier, the National Statistics Institute (INE) said.

Industrial production adjusted for calendar affects rose 5.1 pct in January from a year earlier, INE noted.

Adjusted for calendar effects, consumer goods output rose 4.9 pct in January from a year earlier, while capital goods output increased 12.6 pct intermediary goods production was up 5.5 pct and energy goods output declined 3.4 pct.
