Roche signs antibody research and licensing agreement with Norway's Affitech

LONDON (Thomson Financial) - Affitech AS, the Norwegian human antibody therapeutics company, said it has signed a research and licensing agreement with Roche Holdings AG to produce fully human monoclonal antibodies.

Affitech said it will use its technology to identify candidate antibodies which Roche would use for further development and commercialization.

The financial terms of the collaboration include research fees, milestone payments and royalties on net sales upon commercialization of any product.
