Metso wins 11 mln eur contract from Russia's JSC, a deal from Sweden's Billerud

HELSINKI (Thomson Financial) - Metso said its paper unit has won an 11 mln eur contract from Russia's JSC Segezha Pulp and Paper mill for the rebuilding of the latter's extensible sack kraft paper production line.

The rebuilt line is set to start up in early summer next year.

Jointly, the Finnish conglomerate also said it will supply Sweden's Billerud Gruvon with a wet-end rebuild next spring, but did not reveal the financial details.
