MUMBAI (Thomson Financial) - India's Strides Arcolab Ltd said it has received tentative approvals from the US Food and Drug Administration for two new drug applications for fixed-dose combination of Lamivudine/Stavudine in HIV/AIDS treatment segment.The company said the approvals are for the combination of Lamivudine/Stavudine 150 mg/40 mg tablets and Lamivudine/Zidovudine 150/300 mg tablets, each co-packaged with Efavirenz 600 mg tablets.The pharma company said both the drugs are under the expedited review provisions of the President's Emergency Plan for Aids Relief (PEPFAR) programme.'We now have approvals for all key front line HIV/AIDS medicines.
