ALLEGAN, Michigan (Thomson Financial) - Healthcare products maker Perrigo Co said it has won a patent lawsuit over its antacid famotidine against Johnson & Johnson and partner Merck & Co Inc.Perrigo said it had been sued by Johnson & Johnson's McNeil unit and Merck for infringement of a patent related to the formulation of pepcid.However, the US District Court for the Southern District of New York ruled the patent is invalid, Perrigo said, adding that after Food and Drug Administration approval, it will begin marketing famotidine.tf.TFN-Europe_newsdesk@thomson.comwjCOPYRIGHTCopyright AFX News Limited 2007.
