Korian H1 sales rise 6.5 pct, led by growth at nursing homes |

PARIS (Thomson Financial) - Private healthcare operator Korian said sales rose 6.5 pct or 16.6 mln eur to 271.3 mln eur in the first half from a year earlier, lifted by a 7.4 pct growth in the division which runs nursing homes for elderly people.The sales gain in the division included 4.7 pct organic growth from existing homes and an extra 4.4 mln eur from openings and acquisitions.In the clinics business, revenues increased 4.9 pct, with organic growth reaching 3.9 pct.Establishments opened or bought by Korian so far during 2007 will add 77 mln eur or 14 pct to group sales in a full year, it said.Andrew.Newby@Thomson.coman/rfwCOPYRIGHTCopyright AFX News Limited 2007.
