HAWTHORNE, Calif. (AP) - OSI Systems Inc., a maker of electronic products for security and health care uses, said Wednesday its Spacelabs Healthcare unit received Food and Drug Administration clearance for a device that consolidates heart information.The FDA granted marketing clearance for the Sentinel cardiology data management system. The Sentinel combines electrocardiogram exercise tests, 12-lead tests, Holter monitoring, event recording and blood pressure monitoring in one system, reducing the need for paper records and allowing easier access to patient information.OSI Systems shares fell 3 cents to $24.54 in midday trading on the Nasdaq Stock Market.Copyright 2007 Associated Press.
