Deutsche Telekom offers 1.3 bln eur for France Telecom Dutch unit - source

PARIS (Thomson Financial) - Deutsche Telekom is offering around 1.3 bln eur for the Dutch unit of Orange, the mobile phone subsidiary of France Telecom, a source close to the matter told Agence France-Presse.

The amount is lower than the 1.6 bln eur mooted until now in the German press.

France Telecom confirmed last night that it was studying an offer.
