PARIS (Thomson Financial) - France Telecom's Orange and Telecom Italia's Alice are in advanced talks with virtual mobile operator Ten over a possible buyout or strategic partnership, French business daily Les Echos reported without citing sources.According to information obtained by the paper, Ten has looked at a number of other offers in recent weeks, and ruled them out in favour of Orange and Alice.Les Echos quoted Ten chief executive Jean-Louis Constanza as saying: 'We will choose the partner who will guarantee the most ambitious development plan.'However he refused to confirm the names of the potential candidates, the paper said.vicky.buffery@thomson.comvb/bsdCOPYRIGHTCopyright AFX News Limited 2007.
