COPENHAGEN (AFX) - The seasonally adjusted rate of unemployment was 3.8 pct in January compared with 3.9 pct in December, Statistics Denmark reported.In January, the number of unemployed workers was 105,300. Unemployment has been falling steadily in Denmark since December 2003, when it came to 185,800.Since October 2006, unemployment has fallen by 7,800 among members of the A-kassa unemployment insurance system, while it has fallen by 400 persons among non-members, Statistics Denmark said.gustav.sandstrom@thomson.comgs/rfwCOPYRIGHTCopyright AFX News Limited 2007.
