Stockholm shares close higher, Elekta sharply lower

STOCKHOLM (AFX) - Share prices closed higher with broad gains among index heavy companies, but with shares in Elekta slumping after the health care group reported weak nine months results and lowered its full year outlook, dealers said.

The OMX Stockholm index closed up 1.92 pct at 387.28, while the OMX Stockholm 30 index gained 1.96 pct to close at 1,187.24.
